GROUND FOR TENNIS.
TEN ACRES AT MIRAMAR.
A recommendation from the Reserves Committee, " That the Wellington Lawn Tennis Association be granted the use of about ten acres at Miramar for the purpose of forming tennis courts, for a period of 25 years, the rental for the first five years to be purely a nominal one of £25 per annum, and after that date at, say, £100 per annum," was adopted by the Wellington City Council 1 last week.
