CONFERENOE IN DUNEDIN. [BT TELEGRAPH.—PHESS ASSOCIATION.] DUNEDIN. Saturday. The Baptist Union Conference met today The financial statement showed receipts £2045. The chief item of expenditure was £1141, being grant* to churches. There is a debit balance under general account of £159. It was stated that the testimonial to the Rev. Mr. North would reach £400. It w»b decided that members could join the annuity fund at 55 years instead of 60 yearn The sustenation fund committee reported having scale for married ministers of £250, married home missionaries £230, single ministers and home missionaries £180. Additional grants were agreed to, £5 for each child up to three. Rev. R. S. Gray .reporting the ministerial settlement scheme, said that only 20 replies had been received, 11 churches voting for, and, nine against. It was decided to drop the matter* WOMEN'S MISSIONARY UNION. [BY XILBQ&AFH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] DUNEDIN, Saturdas. At the annual Dominion meeting of the Baptist Women's Missionary Union, the treasurer reported that £1218 had been raised. Officers were elected as follow :—Dominion president, Mrs. W. S. Rollings (Wellington); secretary. Miss Gainaford; treasurer, Mrs. C. CollinB; vice-presidents, Auckland, Mrs* Smeeton; Central, Miss Gage; • Wellington, Mrs. R. S. Gray; Canterbury, Mrs. E. E. Smith; Otago, Miss Ingß.
