A lively discussion took place at a meeting of the executive of the New Zealand Rugby Union to-night in reference to the action of the chairman, Mr. Slade, in arranging the recent visit of the Wellington team to Auckland . when the northerners won by 54 points to 0. The chairman's action was endorsed, but a motion was passed to the effect that in future matters of the kind steps should be taken to call the committee together.
