WOMEN'S FATAL QUARREL.
PURCHASE LEADS TO CRIME. MUEDEB AND SUICIDE. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Bocd. 7.10 p.m.) NEW YORK, Sept. 25. At Suncock, New Hampshire, a quarrel over a piece of flannel resulted in the death of two women. Mrs. Gowai'd purchased some piece goods from a neighbour. named Mrs. Carpenter. To-day the: latter called to collect the money. A dispute ensued, and Mrs. Carpenter departed. Mrs. Goward seized a revolver and shot her neighbour in the back, killing her. She then locked herself up and committed suicide with the same weapon.
