FIRE LOSS OF £9000.

DAMAGE TO DRAPERY. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRFSS ASSOCIATION.] DUNEDIN. Saturday. Damage estimated at £9000 was done to the drapery stock of Douglas Bernstein and Co. by fire last night in their city premises. The outbreak started among the fittings in the ground floor, and the stock, valued at £12,000, was damaged by fire and water. The premises are owned by Hallenstein Rros., and insured for £3500, the .stock for £9000, and the fittings for £600.
