YOUNG MAN SENTENCED* ONE YEAK'S REFORMATIVE. i Found guilty of the theft of the parts of a motor-car, tho property of Gilbert Thornton, Alexander James Churton (Mr. Inder) cam© before Mr. Justice Stringer on Saturday morning for iientence- His Honor said he would havo been very glad to admit the prisoner to probation if he could sw his way to do bo, but he agreed with the probation officer's report that he would not bo justified in doing so. The prisoner had been placed on probation six years ago, when only 16 years of age, but had proved troublesome. There trere other bad features in his record and he must be given a lesson. He would bo detained for reformative treatment for & term not exceeding 12 months, j
