MONEY AND WATCH TAKEN.

6ffences by small boys, TAKEN FROM UNCLE'S POCKET. Three charges of theft of money totalling £6 and one charge of the theft of a watch, valued at £3 10s, were preferred against a boy, about 11 years of age, in the Juvenile Offender's Court on Saturday, before Mr. J. W. Poynton, S.M. His brother, a lad of about tho same age, was charged with receiving of tho money. Hie offences were admitted. Senior-Sergeant Bawle said the boys slept in ,the same room as their uncle, and 1 while he was asleep, the money and thci watch were taken from his coat pockets- Nothing was previously kitown about the boys, although they were suspected of being responsible for several petty thefts afc the school which they previously attended. The boys were admonished by the magistrate, who adjourned tho case for 12 months on the suggestion of the proj bation officer.
