LATE ENEMY SCIENTISTS.
RENEWAL OF RELATIONS. A. and N.Z. SYDNEY. Aug. 18. A conference of the Australian National Research Council discussed the wisdom of admitting works from so-called enemy scientists, and by unanimous opinion favoured termination of the ban fixed in Paris in 1918, by which German and Austrian scientists were barred from membership of the International Research Council. It was resolved that the position be reconsidered, and that representations be made to the proper authorities in London with a view to' effecting a change.
