AUSTRALIAN JOCKEY CLUB.
TOTALISATOR DECREASE. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed 9.15 p.m.) SYDNEY, Aug. 16. The annual .report of the Australian Jockey Club disclosed that in the past year the prize money was increased by £11,000. The amount passed through the totalisator was £1,261,633, compared with £1,280,861 in the previous year. The State benefited by way of revenue to the extent of £113,547.
