FOREIGN EXCHANGE CHAOS.
4610 MARKS TO POUND. A. and N.Z. LONDON. Aug- 15. As a result of the breakdown of the Allied Conference, foreign exchanges are in a chaotic state. The mark dropped from 3700 to the pound yesterday to 4610 to-day, while the French franc, which was quoted at 51.6 to the pound yesterday, is now quoted at 56.
