CENTENARIAN'S DEATH.
MRS. HARRIET COSSET.
NEARLY 102 YEARS OF AGE.
SIXTY YEARS AT DRURY.
The death of a centenarian, Mrs. Harriet Cossey, ofDrary, took place at the residence of her eldest son, Mr. T. Cossey, on Monday. Mrs. Cossey, -who had nearly completed her 102 nd year, had resided in the Auckland district for between 70 and 80 yeais, having arrived from England in "the 'forties." She resided at Onehunga for some time, but subsequently removed to the Drury district, where she has lived for over 60 years. Her husband, Mr. William Cossey, who was engaged in farming, died some years ago. Mrs. Cossey had been ailing for some time, but until quite recently she retaine3 all her faculties. She leaves a large number of descendants, including several sons, all of whom are farming in Ine Drury district. The funeral will take place this afternoon.
