COMMITTEE TO .VISIT AUCKLAND.

The Auckland sitting of the Venereal Diseases Committee of the Board of Health will commence on Thursday, and, after taking evidence for t%vo days, members will leave for the Southern centres, wihoro further evidence will be taken The following members of the committee will visit Auckland: —The Hon. W. H. Triggs, M.L.C., of Christchurch; Sir DJ. Mcfjavin, Director-General of Medical Services; Dr. J. P. Frengley, Deputy-Director-General of Health; and Dr. J. S. Elliott. It is understood that Lady Luke, of Wellington, who is a member of the committee, will not visit AucklandMr. C. J. Drake, secretary to the committee, will arrive in Auckland, tomorrow to make arrangements for the sitting, at which, it is understood, a considerable amount of evidence Avill be placed before the committee.
