A noble spectacle was presented today at Torbay, where the fleet assembled to meet the King aboard the Royal yacht. His Majesty is spending a few days with the Empire's first line of defence. Submarine flotillas led the line in the single file, and wore followed by three lines of destroyers and' two lines of light cruisers. Then came the battleships, the Queen Elizabeth ending the line. As the yacht entered the lino she dropped anchor and the fleet gave the Royal salute and dressed shipsThe exercises will include a mimic battle with torpedo attacks, and the destruction of the ex-German cruiser Nuremberg by big gun practice.
