GERMAN MONARCHISTS.
ATTACK ON HERR HARDEN. WORK OF TWO STUDENTS. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Kecd. 7.5 p.m.) BERLIN, July 4. The attack on Herr Maximi'ian Harden was the work of two students who belong 'to tho band which plotted Dr. Ratbenau's death. Ono of the assailants was caught owing to the prompt action of Herr Harden's daughter. While her father was lving stunned, apparently dead, sho cycled to the police station and put detectives on the trail of his assailants. In a few minutes one man was found hiding in a wood. The arrest of the j other is momentarily expected. The arrested man had a cross around his neck j showing that he belonged to the "Consul" i Monarchist organisation.
Herr Harden is now conscious, and it is believed that he is out of danger.
