Tuesday, Mr. Justice Herdman, on the occasion of his first visit as a Judge to Hamilton, yras welcomed at the opening of the - * TSupreme Court to-day by a full Bench of members of the Hamilton Law Society. ". Mr. C. L. Macdiarmid, president of the . society, extended a hearty welcome to the' Judge, and assured him of the members'* desire to assist him in every -way. Where land was being bought and sold, new contracts were made and broken, and litigation inevitably followed. , • " -
