Mr. John Ernest Moore, well known - in business circles in Auckland, died at) his residence, Ngaroma Road, ; Epsom,', yesterday at the age of 68, from heart failure. Mr. Moore came to the Dominion about 35 years ago and founded the Surgical Supply Company, which he managed until its incorporation with the New Zealand Consolidated Dentil Com- V pany last year. He was greatly respected by all who had business with ~ him, not only for his scrupulous honesty ' / but also for his unfailing courtesy. He ? was a prominent member of the K Mount Eden Congregational Church, and took a very keen interest in the work of the London Missionary Society. He is survived by Mrs. Moore, one son, Dr. A. Eisdell Moore, of the city, and a ; daughter, Mrs. Cecil Moodie, of Epsom. His elder son, Captain W. E.
