j [Bt TELEGRAPH. —OWN CCMUSSrONDENT.] THAMES. Thursday. A meeting of the Thames Hospital Board ! -was held yesterday Mr. J. Rowo presidj in?, A letter was read from Mr. W. J. I McCormick, chairman of t.h<i board, asking | for leave of absence for four months on account of illness, and lha request waa granted. The report of the resident surgeon showed that t,hero wore a totaJ of 23 male and 16 Ifemale patients in the wards. A communication was received from the Public Trustee to the effect that if the application for a loan o; £7000 was granted the rate of intercut would not exceed 6£ per cent. It was- decided to defer the matter until the next meeting, i An account was received from the Ota go Hospital Board for £30 2s for the maintenance of a Thames patient in the Plea sant Valley Sanatorium.
