STUDENTS IN EUROPE.

HELP FROM CANTERBURY. VETOED GRANT, MADE GOOD. [BY ; TELEGRAPH.— ASSOCIATION.] V , CHEISTCHUECH. Tuesday. The returned soldier students at Canterbury College are not all opposed to assisting the measures of relief for the starving students of Central Europe. Tangible proof of this is given in the fact that a special appeal to make up the grant of £10 passed by the students' executive, ■ and subsequently disapproved at the general meeting of ihe Students' Association en Friday night, has been oversubscribed and the returned soldier students have themselves contributed the required sum of £10- The European student relief fund is steadily prospering in Christchurch.
