THE ORPHANS' CLUB. [BY TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.] TE AROHA, TuwdaAbout 50, members of , the Te Aroha Orphans' Club attended the annual meeting last Saturday evening. The report showed that a very successful year had been experienced, the season ending with a club membership of 133. The election of officers for the ensuing year resulted :—President, Mr. A. B. Hinton;" vice-presidents, Messrs. R. L.' Connolly, R. Sprague, and C. C Spedding; treasurer, Mr. J. G. Dykes; secretary, Mr. J. A. Briggs; pianists, Messrs. C. Moody and J. Harbidge ; auditor, Mr. G. F. McGirr; committee," Messrs. E. C. .Wykes, A. A. Reese, C. Andrew, J. Caton, and 1 J. Harbidge; musical director, Mr. J. A. Briggs; chief steward, Mr. K. Wright orchestra conductor; Mr. J. Harbidge. Messrs. W. W. Maingay, G. A. Uorninh, and A. A.
