LADIES' HOCKEY ASSOCIATION

The annual meeting of the Auckland Ladies' Hockey Association was '"' held : on Monday. Miss P. Dawson: presided over a large attendance. The following officers were elected: President, Mr. J. H. Gunson: vice-, presidents, Mrs- Bernecker, Messrs. L. G. Kent and J. W. Shaw; executive, Misses P.Dawson. D. Hill, E. Mills. E. Thomas, Frotneroe, Dickson, and Twiname; hon. secretary. Miss H. Bostic; hon. treasurer. : Miss Z. : Twining; hon. auditor, Mr. :A. Forgie; proxy delegate for Taumarunui, M.ss M. Butland: emergency committee. Misses Daweon. Mills, and Bestic .The executive met subsequently. It was decided to open the season on Saturday. "At-* tention was drawn to the necessity for all players appearing in the correct club uniform. The Rewa A team was transferred from junior 10 senior grade. The C-torohanga Ladies' , Hockey Club ; was granted affil;a;ion.
