Sydney University has created a new post, that bf student adviser, and has appointed Brigadier-General Mackay. The object of the post is *<• acquaint each student personally of v" j mind of the university and act as mentor in all matters pertaining to the university. MR. HENRI VERBRUGGHEN. SYDNEY. April 29. Further advices from the United States report that Mr. Henri Verbrugghen was offered tire conductorship of the Minneapolis Orchestra for ten weeks at £200 a week. The board representing the guarantors and subscribers of the Now South Wales Orchestra decided that as the engagement would run into the 1922 season Mr. Verbrugghan be called on to readjust the terms of his contract with tho New South .Wale* goyerameiifc.
