Huddersfceid defeateu Preston North End by one goal to nil. The winning goal was due to a penalty kick in the second half in front of tie goal. The Northern Union cup final, between Hull and Rochdale Hornets, resulted in the defeat of the former by 10 to 9. Rugby Union matches resulted as follow:—Newport! 5, Bristol "6; Cardiff 9, Donnelly 6.
