ACCIDENT AT CROSSING.
TRAIN WRECKS MOTOR.
ONE OCCUPANT INJURED.

WAIMATE. Wednesday.
A motor<ar conveying Mr. and Mrs. McTlraith and two children, together with Mr. R. McCleay and two children, ran into a train at the railway crossing ftt Waihao Forks to-day. The train struck the motor at a slight angle, and threw it. clear, but the car was smashed to matchwood.
Mrs. Mcllwraith sustained injuries to her spine and head, and «as taken to the hospital. The other occupants were bruised and shaken onlv.
