Harry Greb defeated Tom Gibbons tonight in a 15-round bout. The result was a surprise to boxing experts, who unanimously prophesied that Gibbons would win. Some even expressed the opinion that Gibbons would knock out Greb. The fight is considered most important, for many believe that the winner will bo given an opportunity to meet Dempsey for the championship.
