NORTH ISLAND CHAMPIONSHIPS. The North Island croauet championship matches, which are being held in conjunction with the Auckland Croauet Association e annual tournament, were continued yesterday. The following are ths results:—

AUCKLAND CHAMPIONSHIP SINGLES Section D (Carlton Lawns).—Miss Hesketh beat Mesdames Searle and Arey and won the section.

Mrs. McGregor beat Mrs. McLtian, Mrs. Newsham beat Mesdames Prosser and McLean, Mrs. Nison beat Mrs. McGregor. Section C (Rcmuera Lawns).—Mrs. Stonex beat Mrs. Day. Mrs. Lay beat Mrs. I inch. Section D lEpsom Lawns)— Mrs. Fearnley and Mr. Burgin beat Mesdames Bruce and 'Fisher and Mesdames Smith and Newell; Mr. Laurence and Mrs. Bailey beat Mesdames Smith and Newell and Mesdames S'wales and Bell: Mesdames Swalen and Bell beat Mesdames Bruce and Fisher. Bection A (Mount Bobson Lawns)—Mesdames Coltman and Clarkson beat Mesdames White and Fullerton, and won the sectionFIXTURES FOR TO-DAY. At the Epsom lawns to-day Mrs. Bailey and Mr. Laurence will play Mesdames Warren and Day and Mesdimes Se&ile and Speight. In the Auckland championship singles Mr. Stratton will plav Mrs. Newell at 10 a-m., Mesdames J. Bray and Potter to be ready when called upon. In the Auckland championship singles 'semi-finals) Mi. Murray will play Mrs. Hilton at the Carlton lawns at 9.30. In Section A of the ladies" open jingles Mesdames McKay and Robertson will play on the Carlton lawns at 9.30, other players to be in readiness when called upon. In Section D of the ladies' open singles, on the Mount Hobson lawnc, Mesdames Prime and Williams, and White and Hamilton will play at 9 30. All players in Section F are to be ready when called upon, to play on the same lawns. On the Remuera green, Miss Hesketh will play Mrs. Coutts in the semi-final at 9.30. flay in Sections C and E will follow.
