At a meeting of the Chamber of Commerce a pamphlet was received from the Auckland Advertising League, pointing out that the lack of good hotel accommodation in Hamilton was widely com* men ted on by the travelling public, and suggesting that citizens should adopt a scheme, favoured in America, of erecting a municipal hotel. The members of the chamber generally agreed that the town needed better hotel accommodation. The matter will be discussed at the next meeting, the members meanwhile obtaining information.
