The wife of Dr. Howard ITaylor, a British missionary, has appealed to the British Minister to save her husband, who is held a prisoner by bandits in ■Northern Yunnan, in the Eouth-we3t of China. Mrs. Tay/or herself was captured, but was released with instructions to demand 20,000 dollars ransom' from friends of Dr. Taylor.
