RETURN OF BAWRA STOCKS. | 1702,000 BALES ON FEBRUARY I A. ana N.Z. LONDON. Feb. 23. The British Australian Wool Realisation Association has issued a statement showing that its stocks of wool at the end of 1921 totalled 1,810,000 bales, comprising 1,176,000 bales of Australian and 634,000 of New Zealand. During January 75,000 Australian and 33,000 New Zealand bales were disposed of. Stocks of carry-over wool held on February 1 amounted to 1,702,000 bales, comprising 365,000 bales of Australian Merinos, 736,000 bales of Australian crossbred and 601,000 bales of New Zealand wool.
The carry-over New Zealand wool consisted of 3000 bales of Merinos, 365,000 bales of crossbreds, 121,000 bales of slipes, and 122,000 bales of scoured wool.
ANTWERP WOOL SALE. BATES DECLINE 5 PEE CENT. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Eecd. 6.30 p.m.) ANTWERP. Feb. 28. At Antwerp wool sale there, was a large attendance of buyers. Higher grades were 5 per cent, down, and inferior and crossbreds 5 per cent, below the last London sales.
BRADFORD TOP QUOTATIONS. Australian and N-Z. Cable Association. A. and N.Z. LONDON, Feb. 23The Bradford wool market is dull and easier. The following are the current quotations for tops: 64's, 3s ojk; 60's, 3s sd; 68's, 3s; 48's, Is 4d; and 46's, Is Id.
