APPALLING CONDITIONS.

General conditions in Vienna are most appa'ling. Dr. Will, formerly of Christchurch, wrote on December 30 to the secretary of the Canterbury Hospital Board, stating that the people are nearly starving, and the hospitals are filled with ohildren with all sorts of wcjrd bone conditions, the result of malnutrition.
