SEPARATE CHARGES CREATED

The Auckland Presbytery met last evening, the moderator, the Rev. J. C. Pattison, presiding. The minister of the combined charge was the Rev. A. McDonald. The newly-constituted New Lynn district was given permission to take steps to erect a manse and raise £400 on the church property to supplement the building fund. The Rev. R. Crockett was appointed moderator for New Lynn. It was decided to recommend tho Home Missions Committee to resuscitate the home mission station in the Manurewa district and make a grant for the purpose for a period of one year. It was decided to approach the commanders of the warships in port for permission for a chaplain to have entrance to the warships. A request by the Belmont managers and St. Paul's session, Devonport, that a grant of £49 be made for one year to supplement the sum of £125 given by the Rev. R. S.
