ARRIVALS; AND DEPARTURES. DECREASE SHOWN FOR YEAR. A total of 2080 people arrived in Auckland from overseas during December, 1921, as compared with 1965 during the corresponding month in 1920, an increase of . 115. The arrivals last month included 10 Chinese and one Hindu, as against 14 Chinese in December, 1920, and 39 Chinese and 31 Hindus in December, 1919. J The departures last month totalled 1140, lof whom four were Chinese and six Hindus, as compared with 901, including 26 Chinese and four Hindus, for December, 1920. The arrivals in Auckland for the pastyear totalled 16,323, as compared with 21,096 in 1920, a decrease of 4773. The departures were 10,506, as against 12,957, a decrease of 2451.
