ESTHONI AN SHIP SUNK. SINISTER STORY OF LOSS. Australian and N-Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 5 - 5 STOCKHOLM. Jan. L The Soviet ice-breaker Vinga sank the Esthonian ship Sarema in the Gulf of Finland, 23 of the crew being drowned. Replying to a Note from the Esthonian Government, the Soviet Government blames the captain for navigating without lights, but it is rumoured the Sarema was looted and then sunk.
