FLIGHT OF OVER 28 HOURS. FEAT OF TWO AMERICANS. A. *<nd N.Z. NEW YORK, Dec. 30. At Mineola, Long Island, Edward Stinson and Lloyd Berteaud broke the world's record for a noA-stop aeroplane flight, staying in the air for 25 hours 19 minutes 50 seconds. They ascended at 9 o'clock oil Thursday morning, and descended at 11.20 a.m. to-day. The previous record was 24 ho_urs 19 minutes 7 seconds, established by Lieutenant Boscoutrot and Bernard in France in 1920. Stinson and Berteaud used a Larson all-metal monoplane, fitted with a cabin.
