[bx telegraph.—own correspondent.] TAtfRANGA. Wednesday. Tho district engineer to the Public Works Department, Mr. P. S. Dyson, has advised the Harbour Board that there is no objection to the department carrying out dredging works at the Town Wharf, provided it does not interfere in any way with the progress of the railway bridge. An estimate is being prepared of the oost of the work, and the board will be advised later of the approximate cost, also as to when the department can start the work.
