Further progress in connection with the Waikato-West Coast light railway scheme was made this week, when Messrs. George Parr (chairman), BL D. Dansey (engineer), and P. Watts (solicitor) to the Provisional Board, visited Waitetuna, Te TJku, and Te Mata Meetings were held at each place, and after the visitors had given addresses questions were answered. In every district great enthusiasm was shown arid on every side the hope was expressed that the petition to come before Parliament will receive favourable consideration
