ADVANCE OF SCIENCE.
ON VERGE OF NEW EPOCH.
MEMORABLE CONFERENCE.
Beuter. LONIXOT. Sept. 15. The British Association for the Advancement of Science has concluded one of its most memorable gatherings at Edinburgh. It will meet at Hull in 1922, at Liverpool in 1923, and probably in Canada in 1924.
The president, Sir Edward Thorpe, in his concluding address, said that the proceedings showed that science was on the verge of a great new epoch. There was no question but that science was now at the parting of the ways. In the immediate future the foundations of science would receive fundamental development.
