MAINTENANCE OF SANCTIONS
ANNOUNCEMENT BY FRANCE. A and N.Z. PARIS. Sept 15. The French Foreign Office announces that the economic sanctions in the Rhineland, which were enforced in March, and should have been raised to-day, will be maintained, as the German Government, is not collaborating in the examination of export and import licenses.
