AUCKLAND FRENCH CLUB.

An enjoyable musical evening was spent at the French Club on Tuesday. There was a large attendance of members, who thoroughly enjoyed the varied programme of vocal, instrumental, &nd elocutionarv items which was arranged and conducted by Madame M. F. A. Foley. Items were contributed by Madame Foley; Misses Hutson, D. Ashley, the French Consul M. Leon Hippeau, Professor Winter' Messrs. H. Tracey and Francis, and Master Stretton.
