HYDRO-ELECTRIC SCHEME.
APPROVAL BY ALBERT
Tho agreement drawn up by the conference of representatives of local bodies on Tuesday evening in connection with the hydro-electric scheme was approved by the Mount Albert Borough Council on Wednesday evening. The agreement, it was reported by the chairman of the conference, had to be submitted to the Minister for Public Works before details could be announced, but he added that the formation of a one-pjwer board for the Auckland isthmus now seemed assured.
