The remaining two singles matches between Australasia and Canada in the Davis Cup round were played to-day. Th<> Australasians having already won the round by winning the first two singles and the doubles, the remaining matches were of the nature of exhibitions. Todd (Australasia) defeated La Framboise (Canada), 6—2, 6—5, 6—B, 6—l. It is announced that the fire on the Mauretania having caused the sailing of the Indian Davis Cup team to be delayed, the matches between India and Japan have been postponed one week.
