ACCOUNTS FOR QUARTER.
EXPENDITURE STILL HIGHER i EXCESS OF. THREE MILLIONS [BT TELEGRAPH. OWN CORRESPONDENT-] WELLINGTON. Thursday. The statement for the June quarter of receipts and expenditure into the ordinary revenue account of the Consolidated Fund was gazetted this evening. It shows the following result in comparison with the June quarter of last year :—
Details of the expenditure are as follow : —
The amount of cash in the public account at April 1 was £4,920,293. At June 30 it was £853,437, a reduction of £4,066,856.
