DEMANDS OF SHEARERS.
THE OTAGO DISPUTE. [BY TELEGRAPH— PRESS ASSOCIATION.] DUNEDIN, Wednesday. The Arbitration Court heard the shearers and shed hands' dispute to-day, but after evidence it was decided isot to labour the main issues until the principal and final hearing: of the case takes place at Wellington on August 25. The union claimed to be asking only to be placed on the same relative footing as in 1914. Tne employers endeavoured to show that the prices now njalised failed to clear the cost of production.
