j At 10 a.m. yesterday Mr. A. Scberer i was shooting alone <Jn the lake near ■ Mount Edgecombe, and was returning j home. He pulled his boat ap and reached for Ins gnn, which accidentally discharged and caased serious injuries to bis right upper arm. The victim, on recovering from the shock, rode two milas to his employer's house, where he alighted from his horse and collapsed. A doctor happened to be in the vicinity, and Mr. Scherer was conveyed to the Wbakatane j Hospital. He *'vll probably lose one area.
