OIL WHARF ON FIRE.
DAMAGE AT WELSH PORT. NARROW ESCAPE OF TANKER, Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 12-30 a.m.) LONDON, July 24 The oil wharf at Penarth Docks, in Wales, were destroyed by fire. An oil tanker of 8,000 tons that was alongside narrowly escaped, likewise two paraffin petrol reservoirs valued at £2,000,000. The damage is estimated at £100,000.
