MOUNT ALBERT.
The Mount Albert Borough Council met last evening, the Mayor, Mr. A. P. Bennett, presiding. There were also present: Messrs B. J. Allingham E. S. In-wood. A. J. Jenkin' H. J. Langley, H. A. Miles. A. M. Wilson! vj.lx. Metcalfe, and R. H. Armstrong. The question of footpath formation from Ooyio Street to Fowlds' Avenue was referred to the A ward members for report A deputation of residents of St. Luke's Koad requested that the footpath on tho left side from New North Road be continued as far as Taylor's Road. Xt was decided to obtain estimates for the various works, and that tho matter be referred to tho Works Committee. The Edendale School Committee drew attention to the bad state of tho street crossings. in the vicinity of the school. The matter wag referred to the ward members to report. A petition from Edendale Road ratepayer® in regard to the footpath on the eastern side between Royal Terrace and Burnley Terrace was referred to the Works Committee.
