[Br TKLEGRAFH.—OWN CORBESFONDEXT ] PAJBROA, Sittarday. The monthly meeting of the Ohinemuri County Council was held this week, Mr. A. <R. Robinson presiding. The restriction $ of heavy traffic during the winter months was discussed at length. Matters left to the engineer included supply of road metal and bridge repair. A protest against the reimposition of the import duty on cement was supported by the council. The silting trouble on the local rivers was further discussed with a view to laying the position before the Inland Waterways Commission.
