The following weather forecast was supplied to us by Mr. Clement L. Wraggo at seypn o'clock last evening:— Unsettled, squally, and showery conditions are expected generally, but modified in Hawke's Bay . and other eastern districts in response to the advancing umbra of a new Antarctic disturbance named Writ. halath. These conditions should be more marked in higher latitudes. Snow ovex the Southern highlands is probable when winds veer southerly, meantime between west-north-west and west. Sea rather rough on west coast south from Manukau Heads. YESTERDAY'S WEATHER. Rainfall in City for 48 hours ended midnight. May 8 (Herald gauge) ,11in. SUN, MOON, AND TIDES. Sun—To-day: Rises, 6.33 a.m.; sets, 4.36 P.m. Moon—First quarter. May IS. 2.55 a.m. High Water, Auckland—To-day: 7.53 a.m.; 8.18 p.m High Wafer. Manukau Heads—To-day: 9.52 a.m.; 10.17 p.m.
