AUCKLAND'S BUSY PORT.
VESSELS ARRIVING TO-DAY, Three passenger steamers and three cargo, vessels are due at Auckland to-dav. Of the passenger class, the Makura is expected to arrive from Sydpey at 7 a.m. She is en route to Vancouver via Suva, Honolulu and Victoria (8.C.), and is announced to resume her voyage at 10 a.m. to-morrow. The Makura is taking a large number of passengers from Auckland, and. also has a big through list from Sydney. The Maheno. which is employed in the Auckland-Sydney service,, is due about 3 a.m. from the New South Wales poi & with 264 passengers. The Mararoa, fronii Napier and Gisborne, is due to arrive ab 7 a.m. She is bringing passengers and freight. The cargo steamers include the W*imarino, from San Francisco, laden with American merchandise; the Waitomo, from Lyttelton, with about 5000 tons of produce; and the Katoa, from Wellington, with general cargo. The Austrakrac, laden with a cargo of fertilisers fr< pi Ghent, and the Waihora with cargo fr<>m Calcutta, are both due at Auckland tomorrow.
