NEW ZEALAND CRICKET.
Sir, —My attention has been draw no an article written by Mr. Percival R. \\ addy on New Zealand cricket, published in the Wellington papers, and also in your paper on the 11th inst. Mr. Percival R. a<idy is described in your paper as being a member of the Australian cricket team which has just toured the Dominion. This ie an error, as I am the only member" of the Waddy family .who is a member of that team. I desire to say that Mr. Percival R. Waddy's views, as put forth in that letter on NewZealand cricket, are not my views, nor are they the views of any member of the Australian team, aiKi I should be very sorry to be a party to such views. I desire the statement that I am responsible for the letter in question should be contradicted as early as possible, hence this short note to your valuable paper. I can only say this with reference to our trip through the Dominion that we found that wherever we went yonr people could not do enough far us, and nothing was too much them, and I can only assure them that we, as Australians, feel very grateful to them, and will always remember this tour as one of the most pleasing experiences in our cricket careers, and are grateful to them for all they have done for us. Ed gas. L. Waedt. Member of Australian Cricket Team.
