COAL FOR GASWORKS.
FRESH STOCKS ARRIVE. THIRTEEN DAYS' SUPPLY. The Auckland Gas Company, has received 1300 tons of Westport coal from the shipment brought to Auckland by the Waipori. The Helen B. Sterling, which arrived from Newcastle on Sunday, with a cargo of coal, has 2000 tons for the company. As the gasworks consume approximately 250 tons a day, the coal now to hand a equal to slightly mo re than 13 days' supply. J
